About the Programme

More Than a Scholarship. A Statement of Belief.

The BAG Scholar Initiative is built on a simple, powerful conviction: that there are brilliant Nigerian young people right now whose potential is constrained by circumstances they did not choose. These students are already working, already striving, already dreaming. They simply need recognition, a platform, and a financial investment to go further.

This programme awards financial grants to deserving secondary school students across Nigeria, selected through a rigorous, transparent, and merit-based process. Beyond the money, it sends a message to every scholar and every applicant: your effort has been seen, and someone believes in you.

The inaugural 2026 edition carries a total prize pool of ₦100,000, distributed across selected scholars — with plans to grow in reach, prize value, and impact year after year.
